Vastu Compliance: Puja, Worship, Gods, Idols

Our temple is in bedroom, we face south while worshipping. What should be done ideally?

Have Deity face east.

Sir, I live in the first floor, where the main door is opening from south to north . I would like to know what should be kept ideally at the north east corner of the drawing room.
