Vastu Compliance: Flat & Apartment Layout Issues

I would like to ask you about my 3 bed room flat, which is under construction. The details of the flat are as follows: 1) Main entrance is east facing. 2) planning to have a puja room in south east corner of Living/Dinning room. Entrance of the puja room will be north facing. 3) Master bed room is south west side of flat. 4) Second bed room is south east side of the flat. 5) Third bed room is north west of the flat. 6) kitchen entrance is south facing. Using above details are you able to tell the Vastu please?

It is very difficult to apply Vastu principle to an existing flat. You can't treat it as an individual only, you need to consider the whole building configuration also. You must verify the REAL building orientation, not just roughly figure that it faces east or some such direction. Analysis of your flat requires expert and careful consultation. In general, the facing of a door can be ANY direction of the cardinal points, BUT, it MUST be properly located. Just to have an east facing door does not solve the problem. It must be auspiciously located. Master bedroom in south west is good, but it must be located within the whole context of the group of flats also. The same goes for all the room locations. Don't worry about the facing of your interior doors, it is completely insignificant in this case. Unless they are properly designed and constructed, with gaps between the walls of the individual flats, these type of modern buildings create a situation where there is no vibrational separation between families. You should not have your puja area in the SE, it needs to be in the NE.

Dear Michael Sir, My flat is on the second floor and east facing. The entrance door opens to the hall. From the centre of the hall, there's a passage to the two bedrooms towards the north direction. At the beginning of the passage, on the west side is the kitchen with a window towards the west, while the bathrooms are towards the eastern side of the passage. The master bedroom is on the north eastern side where we sleep. I use the north western side bedroom as study room where my parents also sleep when they visit me once in a while. However, there is no mental peace because my wife does not like to be in Mumbai (she is from Bangalore) and I have not achieved success in get a good job though I have good qualifications and experience. Please suggest me where are the amendments needed for a successful career and mental peace.

First of all, flats are very difficult to predict in terms of Vastu influence. In general, if you live in a flat, you should just forget about Vastu applications. It will drive you crazy to think about many things that do even really apply. Flats have mixed up, confused energy and everyone shares it. You just need to create a sacred space of your own, with your own intelligence and intuition, to bring you some peace. If you find a "Vastu" consultant who says there is a definitive and definite move that can be made for predictable results, they will probably be just making a rupee off you and that's it. You need to examine the exact building orientation and the location and function of all items in the building, not just your apartment. Then all needs to be adjusted, which is impossible. NE is not bad for a bedroom in a pinch. If your wife is not happy, this is your biggest Vastu consideration. The wife is the master of the house. Make your wife happy and all else will come to good.

We are planning on renting a house. There are two flats that we like one is north west facing from the main door, and the other one is west facing and there is also a temple of lord Ganesha just out side the building, which flat would be favorable to us to take, please guide.

I would need much more information to advise. If the building is not oriented in alignment with north south it is not advised. The Ganesha Temple facing should be asked from your local priest.

I am going to buy a flat. My flat door entrance is south east and Apartments entrance is facing south and kitchen is facing north east. Is it good to buy that house?
